LeBron James Praises New Cavs Teammates With Subtle Jab at the Old
“At the end of the day, I just want to be around guys who work hard.”
Following the newly-formed Cavaliers’ 121-99 victory over the Boston Celtics on Sunday night, front man LeBron James praised his new teammates in a post-game interview with Doris Burke stating, “the attention to detail tonight was at an all-time high for the first time this season.” He continued, “We got some players that can go out and get their own, that’s pretty smart, and they picked it up like they’ve been here all year.” Known for tossing out subliminal messages, the King then went on to add “At the end of the day, I just want to be around guys who work hard.”
Just last week, the the Cleveland Cavaliers shocked the basketball world by confirming the trades of four star players: Isaiah Thomas, Derrick Rose, Dwyane Wade and Channing Frye. In return the Cavs gained Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr. from the Lakers, Rodney Hood from the Jazz and George Hill from the Sacramento Kings.
