Latest 'Bleach' Live-Action Trailer Focuses on Ichigo's First Hollow Battle
Shaping up to be a close manga adaptation.
After releasing the first trailer for the live-action Bleach adaptation, Warner Bros. Japan recently dropped a new trailer focussed on Ichigo Kurosaki’s first hollow battle.
The latest teaser for the upcoming film shows how Ichigo was forced to become a shinigami after a ghostly hollow creature runs rampant in his neighborhood. Adopting his new shinigami powers from an injured Rukia, Ichigo slays the hollow kicking off the macabre Bleach saga. Set to open in Japan on July 20 with a wider release to follow, the live action Bleach adaptation is set to follow the original manga series’ first “Substitute Shinigami Arc,” which ran from its first to eighth volume.
