Advent Calendar Day 21: Shoe Palace x Converse Chuck Taylor Hi and Boombox Package
A fully functioning boombox from decades ago.
To celebrate Shoe Palace’s 25th anniversary, the nationwide sneaker boutique collaborated with Converse to release an exclusive Chuck Taylor All Star 70 Hi. The pair pays tribute to the Mersho family, who founded the athletic footwear and apparel retail chain in 1993. The sneaker features a stitched “Boom Box” on the tongue, artwork on the insole, and other commemorative details throughout. The heel of the shoe also features a radio modulation stripe that honor Shoe Palace and its heritage, paired with thick rubber and durable organic canvas.
As a combination package, the Shoe Palace x Converse high top comes with a limited-edition, co-branded Panasonic RX-5050 boombox that, along with its original functions and features being fully operational, can be linked to an external device to play music from any device.
One lucky winner will win the Shoe Palace x Converse US9.5 sneaker and boombox speaker as part of this year’s Advent Calendar 2018 installment.
The winners of the Advent Calendar will be announced on December 27.
