Robyn Drops the Video for “Honey”
She also covered Wham!’s “Last Christmas.”
Robyn shares the video for her single “Honey,” the title track off her fantastic latest album that released in October. The video was made in an interesting way, casting fans in starring roles who were recruited at an open casting call that was looking for people in “modern, diverse, interesting and liberated couples and relationships. Heterosexual, LGBTQ+, gender non-conforming, polyamorous.”
The video was directed by Max Vitali and filmed in London. The music video is described in a statement as being a “testament to love, sensuality and the power of a party.” Robyn will be touring the world in 2019.
In other news, Robyn covered Wham!’s “Last Christmas” during her “Live Lounge” session for BBC Radio 1. She later called Wham!’s George Michael her hero and reflected on the holiday period.
