Stream Mr. Hudson & Vic Mensa's Somber Track "Coldplay"
“A sincere, very simple song about one of those little painful transition moments.”
In recent years, Mr. Hudson has followed up his 2015 comeback single “Dancing Through It” with behind-the-scenes work and under-the-radar collaborations. As 2017 comes to a close, the award-winning singer/songwriter brings the attention back to his solo career with the release of another new single.
Reconnecting with recent collaborator Vic Mensa, Mr. Hudson serves up some somber melodies on the melancholic “Coldplay.” “It’s just a sincere, very simple song about one of those little painful transition moments where you’re not sure what’s going to happen,” Mr. Hudson tells Zane Lowe, breaking down his latest. Along with today’s drop, Mr. Hudson has also revealed plans to finish up a new studio album and intends to focus on releasing that in the coming months.
