The World's Largest Starbucks Opens in Shanghai
It even utilizes augmented reality.

Shanghai, China will be host to the newest Starbucks Roastery, which is officially the coffee chain’s largest restaurant. Roastery stores are larger than average Starbucks locations, with the Shanghai location being the largest of them all, serving beans from more than 30 different countries, including China’s Yunnan province.
Featured inside is an 88-foot long coffee bar, a ceiling constructed from 10,000 handmade wooden tiles, and the location even utilizes augmented reality, allowing patrons to use their mobile phones on various items inside the store to access information about their coffee and unlock “virtual badges” to share on social media. Further Roastery spots are slated to open in Milan (Starbucks’ first store in Italy), New York in 2018, and Tokyo and Chicago in 2019. For now, you can check out the newest Roastery in Shanghai’s Nanjing Road shopping district on December 6.
