Sotheby's to Auction Contemporary Art, Some to Fetch for up to $50,000 USD

Sotheby’s has partnered with the Hong Kong Contemporary Art Foundation (HOCA) on a huge auction this December. Invader, Shepard Fairey (Obey Giant), Alexandre Farto (Vhils), Anthony Lister, José Parlá, and more renowned artists have donated their works for the auction. A total of 32 works will go on sale to help raise funds for HOCA’s upcoming exhibits, public events, film screenings, as well as educational workshops. The highest estimated price in the batch goes to Invader’s PA_177, Alias mosaic at $450,000 HKD or roughly $57,569 USD.
