ESPN Shares First Trailer for Michael Jordan Documentary, 'The Last Dance'
A look at his rise to NBA supremacy.
A new documentary taking a look at Michael Jordan and his final season with the Chicago Bulls has just been shared by ESPN. Titled, The Last Dance, the 10-part docuseries goes behind the scenes with the Bulls during the 1997/98 tension-filled championship season, offering up a look at Jordan and his rise to basketball supremacy.
During this time, Jordan had already solidified himself as one of the greatest basketball players of all time, having won his sixth title in just eight years. Besides footage of Jordan, interviews from Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman, Steve Kerr and head coach Phil Jackson are also included along with over 500 hours of never-before-seen footage of the Bulls’ 1997/98 season. Competition was an addiction,” Jackson says in the clip. “My mentality was to go out and win… at any cost.”
Take a look at the first trailer for The Last Dance below which is slated to premiere on ESPN in Summer of 2020 followed by Netflix in Fall 2020.
