Marvel Shares New 'Captain Marvel' Trailer & Poster

Though fans continue to patiently wait for the Avengers 4 trailer to drop, Marvel Studios is tying them over with a new Captain Marvel spot.

Shared during Monday Night Football, the new trailer gives us a closer look at how Carol Danvers became one of the planet’s most powerful superheroes as well as the interstellar war between the Krees and the Skrulls. Set in the 1990s, Academy Award winner Brie Larson plays the title character while Samuel L. Jackson joins as a younger Nick Fury, S.H.I.E.L.D.’s head agent. Take a look at the new action-packed trailer below.

To go along with the newly released clip, the studio has also shared a new theatrical poster spotlighting the titular character and her superpowers. Captain Marvel is scheduled to premiere in theaters on March 8.
