Nike's PG 2.5 "Pendleton" Channels Oklahoma City's Rich Native American Culture
Dressed in “Tidal Blue.”
The NBA recently revealed Nike’s City Edition jerseys for all of the league’s 30 teams. The Oklahoma City Thunder’s new threads feature “Tidal Blue” and hits of orange, a theme that pays homage to American Indian cultures in Oklahoma. Continuing that commemoration is the latest Nike PG 2.5 colorway which is dressed in the same blue hue along with red, orange and yellow accents.
The model stars Pendleton‘s signature wool fabric wrapping around the heel of the sneaker. The navy midfoot strap and Swoosh logo on the midsole complete the fully functional basketball sneaker.
