Nike Preps Trio of Dazzling Air Max 97 “Metallic” Sneakers
Shades of the infamous “Silver Bullet” colorway, plus a new gold edition.

As Nike‘s Air Max 97 prepares to close out a banner year, the sneaker giant still has several special packs on the way, including the recent “Jacket” pack and this forthcoming “Metallic” release. Encompassing a trio of 97s, the pack includes a silhouette that recalls the famed “Silver Bullet” colorway that received much acclaim last year.
Accompanying that grey-toned sneaker is a “Metallic Gold”-inspired option, blending black and gold accents into a sophisticated makeup. The pair is joined by a shoe that seemingly serves as an intermediary, with a black upper and silver midsection that bridges the gap between the other two sneakers. Aside from the revised color schemes, the shoes retain familiar detailing, including plastic tongue emblems, dual pull tabs, grey outsoles and red jewel Swooshes.
Look for the “Metallic” pack to hit Nike’s site on November 9 for $170 USD per sneaker.
Most recently, the Air Max 97 received a seasonal “Velvet Brown” makeover.
