Back in July, we shared news that Jordan Brand and Kawhi Leonard were planning to end their business partnership. Today, the Toronto Raptor made his departure official by announcing a new deal with New Balance, following in the footsteps of another great two-way small forward, James Worthy.

According to Yahoo Sports, the two-time NBA All-Star and Defensive Player of the Year has agreed to a multi-year deal and will serve as the face of the company’s re-established basketball division. Contractual obligations haven’t been shared just yet, but this move follows other recent shakeups in the league, including DeMarcus Cousins linking up with PUMA and Gordon Hayward connecting with ANTA.

Stay tuned for additional information regarding Leonard’s New Balance deal and let us know what your expecting from the two moving forward. In related footwear news, you can take a look at the New Balance Made In the USA 998 dressed in pony hair.
