Newest 'Vox Lux' Trailer Sees Natalie Portman's Character Struggling With Fame
With original songs by Sia.
NEON has released a new trailer for Natalie Portman‘s upcoming film Vox Lux, which showcases a pop icon with a troubled past and whose prominence is rapidly declining. Written and directed by Brady Corbet, the film is told in two parts.
The first part features teenaged Celeste (Portman) overcoming a school shooting and singing an original song alongside her sister about the tragedy, which inevitably turns her into a star. The second part follows Celeste as a superstar of Lady Gaga proportions struggling with fame and her personal life as she attempts a comeback tour. The film also stars Jude Law and Raffey Cassidy with original songs by Sia.
Check out the new Vox Lux trailer above and catch the film nationwide on December 14. New York and Los Angeles will premiere the film earlier on December 7.
