Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse hasn’t been released yet, but Sony are already working on a sequel for the film, with details saying it will be an all-woman spinoff. Joaquin Dos Santos — who has directed Justice League Unlimited, has been tapped to be the director and Sony is also in discussion with Lauren Montgomery, who’s previously co-directed Batman: Year One and Superman/Batman: Apocalypse.

Plot details are scarce at the moment, but Bek Smith will be writing the script and production will be the same as the previous films. Spider-Man: Into the Spider Verse will be releasing in theatres on December 14.

In related news, Netflix has announced a live-action Cowboy Bebop remake.
