Natalie Portman's 'Vox Lux' Character Falls from Stardom in New Trailer
Struggling to reclaim the spotlight.
Natalie Portman stars as a pop icon whose prominence is rapidly declining in director Brady Corbet’s (Funny Games) Vox Lux. The trailer focuses on the dark side of fame and Celeste’s (Portman) controversial decisions as a result of her diminishing career.
After surviving a violent crime and gaining superstardom following a performance at a memorial service, we see a young version of the character as she develops into the dark, struggling singer preparing for her new album to reclaim her spot in stardom after a scandal.
Co-starring Jude Law and Raffey Cassidy, check out the footage above and look out for the next Sandra Bullock flick coming out of Netflix.
