Jay Rock & Kendrick Lamar Go for a Ride in New "Wow Freestyle" Video
The TDE rappers hit the ballpark, parking lot and more.
Following last month’s attention-stealing remix of Migos and DJ Durel’s “Hot Summer,” Jay Rock reconnects with Kendrick Lamar for the new visual in support of their recent collaboration “Wow Freestyle.”
Released this past June, as part of Jay Rock’s Redemption LP, “Wow Freestyle” is brought to life as a music video thanks to the work of director Jack Begert, TDE Films, AJR Films and Psycho Films. Notably, the straightforward clip takes viewers to a series of neighborhood surroundings that appear to be familiar to Jay Rock and Kendrick Lamar. For the video, the two TDE rappers hop in the car and head on a journey to the ballpark, stop by a gathering of local kids, and host their own parking lot cypher.
