ScHoolboy Q, Westside Gunn, Conway & The Alchemist Unite for "Fork In The Pot"
Three of the game’s best emcees connect.
The worlds of East Coast and West Coast hip-hop collide for “Fork In The Pot,” a new collaborative record from Conway, Westside Gunn, ScHoolboy Q and The Alchemist.
Debuted on The Alchemist’s 41st birthday via a Jason Goldwatch-directed visual, “Fork In The Pot” blends together bars from some of the game’s most talented contemporary emcees and showcases each artist at their lyrically sharpest. Notably, this track is also being released as part of a forthcoming 12” from Alchemist, which is scheduled to drop on November 2. Besides “Fork In The Pot,” that vinyl will also feature “94’ Ghost Shit,” a Conway and Westside Gunn collaboration released at the very beginning of this month.
“Summertime in Cali serving avalanche, / I’m a whale to a fish, n*gga, serve quail to a brick,” ScHoolboy Q spits. “Your aunties and uncles they know me n*gga / Slangin them patties, the buns full of cavvy.”
