Netflix has released a trailer for the upcoming Sandra Bullock, Sarah Paulson, and John Malkovich horror movie Bird Box, based on a 2014 book by Josh Malerman of the same name. Similar to this year’s breakout film A Quiet Place, the film is set in a post-apocalyptic wilderness with a mother and her two children forced to dull their senses (in this movie’s case, sight) to survive being killed by vicious creatures.

Bullock plays the mother named Malorie, who realizes that opening your eyes exposes you to your greatest fears and makes you do questionable things as a result. Bullock will reunite with her Ocean’s 8 cohort Sarah Paulson when Bird Box hits the streaming service December 21. Watch the trailer above and comment below.

In other entertainment news, My Hero Academia is getting the live-action film treatment.
