Mozzy Enlists YG, ScHoolboy Q, Ty Dolla $ign & More for 'Gangland Landlord'
His new LP is definitely an “AOTY” contender.

A couple weeks after our debut of Mozzy‘s new video and single, “Walk Up,” the exceptionally-talented Sacramento superstar finally unleashes his anticipated new Gangland Landlord LP.
Mozzy’s Gangland Landlord album serves as the follow-up to 2017’s 1 critically-acclaimed 1 Up Top Ahk album and this year’s Spiritual Conversations EP. The project is made up of 18 new tracks, including previously-released singles like “Who Want Problems” and “Not Impressive.” When it comes to the album’s collaborative efforts, Mozzy decided to link up with YG, ScHoolboy Q, Blac Youngsta, Ty Dolla $ign, Yo Gotti, Trae Tha Truth, Yhung T.O. and others.
“My music based on reality, soulful, very touching, gang-related, heart-felt, full of consequences,” Mozzy recently told The Atlantic‘s Hannah Giorgis, breaking down his sound and his music’s themes for an expansive new profile. “It’s just the lifestyle we live. I try not to glorify it, I give you the good, bad, and ugly. I feel like 1 Up Top Ahk was the growl; Gangland Landlord was the bite.”
