Mozzy Returns to Sacramento's Oak Park for "Who Want Problems"
The first visual single in support of his next album.
Following up last year’s powerful 1 Up Top Ahk album, Mozzy made quite an impressive with the lean but equally personal and poignant Spiritual Conversations EP back in March. Moving on from that release’s visual-heavy promotional campaign, the Sacramento icon looks to his next project, Gangland Landlord, and delivers a hard-hitting, vicious new single titled “Who Want Problems.”
Debuted via its official video, Mozzy’s “Who Want Problems” is a direct, in-your-face representation of the street soldier mentality. When it comes to championing the causes of those who are trying to survive in their neighborhoods by any means necessary, there isn’t a single talent who can do it better than Mozzy. With his region nearing a creative peak not seen since the ’90s, Mozzy is definitely leading the way. At this point, he’s pretty much this era’s Boosie.
“This was a song I did a while back on a different beat and my manager/producer, DaveO, tweaked the beat and vocals and it became one of my favorite songs,” Mozzy explained to Noisey via email, breaking down the process behind today’s Suj-directed vignette.

Back in May, Mozzy appeared on “Blessings” alongside fast-rising, fellow Northern California artist Rexx Life Raj and Lecrae.
