LeBron James Powers Past Phoenix Suns in New Nike LeBron 16 PE
Purp ‘Brons.
LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers snagged their first win of the season last night against Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns. Despite James’ new squad getting off to a rough start, the 15-season vet contributed 19 points, 7 rebounds, 10 assist and 3 steals in the team’s 131-113 victory. LeBron stepped onto the Talking Stick Resort Arena hardwood in style with a new Nike LeBron 16 PE in all-purple. Fairly similar to the “King Court Purple” colorway, this edition swaps the heel’s animal print for solid suede and adds a marble finish to the outsole in black and grey.
At the moment there’s no word on if we should expect this iteration to hit retailer shelves, but we can surely look forward to James showcasing multiple colorways of his latest model – especially with the NBA’s more lenient footwear rules moving forward. LeBron fans can also look forward to the Nike Zoom LeBron 3 “Black/Metallic Gold” making a comeback before the year’s end.
