Creative director at The Verve label group after 20 years at Sony and seminal music photographer Josh Cheuse is set to launch a photography exhibition in New York City’s West Village. The presentation, which launches today, will feature rare snaps of legendary musicians such as Run DMC, The Clash, Beastie Boys, AC/DC, and more.

One of the highlights is a capture of Run DMC during The Fresh Fest press conference back in 1984 in New York City. In regards to the photo, Cheuse described: ”I was asked on a book tour in Japan if I knew this image would have such cultural significance. I had to admit I was more interested in the design of the carpet at the time.”

View select photos in the gallery above and head over to Josh Cheuse’s website to learn more. The show will launch today, October 25, at Jeffery-West.
