adidas T-Mac Millennium Honors McGrady's Famed Backboard Alley-Oop
Dating back to 2004.
Back in 2004, Tracy McGrady stole the show at the NBA’s All-Star game in LA with a dazzling performance. Though Shaquille O’Neal went home as the MVP, T-Mac had the highlight of the night with his signature self-assist off the backboard. During the game, he also wore a mismatched pair of the adidas T-Mac 3 sporting the game’s red and blue color scheme. Today, images surfaced of the T-Mac Millennium sneaker using that moment as an inspiration. The new take on the adidas T-Mac 1 is dressed in blue with a few grey accents along the upper. BOOST cushioning is added to the midsole with its main details added to the sole. Finally, its translucent bottom sports a portion of 2004’s All-Star jersey graphics to top things off.
The adidas T-Mac Millennium “2004 All Star” is set to arrive soon at select adidas retailers and adidas.com for $160 USD. adidas Hoops fans can also check out the new Marquee BOOST.
