Not showing any signs of letting up, this week’s list of weekly product drops sees Supreme unleash its second Fall/Winter 2018 collaboration with The North Face. Palace, on the other hand, delivers the second launch of its expansive Ultimo 2018 collection led by a host of Tri-Ferg emblazoned pieces.
Collaborations also remain important this week, as Nike preps anticipated collaborations with A-COLD-WALL* and Heron Preston, in addition to an unlikely team up from Paris Saint-Germain and BAPE. Other notable partnerships include a vintage-inspired release from FILA and Too Hot Limited, as well as a set of commemorative items from an array of brands for Caliroots‘s latest flagship opening. Stepping into the sartorial side of things, we also received the latest FW18 release from fledgling Taiwanese brand Professor. E, simply dubbed “POEM.”
Key items this week include the Heron Preston x Nike Tailwind HP Sunglasses, the PSG x BAPE Shark Hoodie and Palace’s the food-focused Tri-Bagel Hoodie. Finally, from Supreme, the Expedition backpack, waist bag, travel wallet and compass necklace are the must-haves from the upcoming launch.
Supreme FW18 Collection Drop 15
As expected, the expansive collection is mostly made up of all-weather gear from TNF’s expedition series — there’s the jacket, fleece outer top and pants as well as a backpack, waist bag, travel wallet, beanie and compass necklace. There’s also a T-shirt and hoodie emblazoned with a vintage TNF ad to round out the capsule for good measure. It’s important to note that the co-branded outerwear pieces releasing are constructed of breathable GORE-TEX Cordura fabric, with fully sealed seams, while the accessories feature increased durability from the high-density Cordura yarn textile used.
To make room for the massive TNF drop, this week’s scheduled offerings from Supreme come in a little light. Some items that will surely gather some more attention include the Velvet Swirl Workshirts, Casino Camp Cap and pearl set FUCK Pin. Another standout is the simple plastic hand mirror that ‘Preme accessory fans will surely want in their collection.
