Anderson .Paak & Kendrick Lamar Reconnect for 'Oxnard' Single "Tints"
The latest record in support of .Paak’s new album.

Last month, Anderson. Paak and Dr. Dre revealed that the former artist’s anticipated Oxnard LP was finished. Now, taking to Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 program, .Paak has unleashed a new single in support of the aforementioned album.
Titled “Tints,” Anderson .Paak’s latest major release pairs him with his recent “Bloody Waters” collaborator Kendrick Lamar. The funky, upbeat “Tints” was premiered as Zane Lowe’s World Record, and news of the record’s existence was revealed last month. According to past interviews, Oxnard‘s tracks contain the music that Anderson .Paak has “dreamed of making” since high school.
“She wanna hold me like a ransom,” Anderson .Paak croons. “But the bag keep me running.”
“Young Kendrick Lamar, respect me from afar,” Kendrick Lamar spits. “I was made in His image, respect me as a God.”
