Kojey Radical & adidas Team for Conceptual Short Film About Mental Health
Hosted by SSENSE, ‘Infinite Silence’ is an abstract visual poem.
adidas typically focuses on physical health, ensuring that athletes can move freely with its sneakers, and gearing them up for optimal performance. However, the sportswear giant and retailer SSENSE have paired up to explore a different kind of healthiness: mental stability.
In a short film directed by Max Luz, British rapper and poet Kojey Radical narrates stream-of-consciousness bars over quick cuts of disparate scenes. The film’s characters, embodied by actors and dancers, add flowing movement underneath Radical’s earnest dialogue and shrieking violins. The film refers to the ocean frequently, implying symbolism between the character’s heightening discomfort and the relative stability of the sea.
