2018 marks the 20th anniversary of the Air Max 98 silhouette and Nike is celebrating the event with newly two revamped iterations of OG colorways. Announced just a few days ago, the Swoosh is preparing to release the popular “Gundam” and “Tour Yellow” renditions this month.

Both low-top variants are equipped with redesigned uppers in a multi-patterned motif, 3M black piping details, as well as nostalgic Air Max branding on the tongue and heel portions. The “Gundam” version is wrapped in white, blue and red hues that pay homage to the RX-78-2 from the Gundam anime franchise. On the contrary, the “Tour Yellow” iteration sports white, yellow, navy and gray tones.

Check out both colorways above and expect an official release of the “Tour Yellow” this January 26 at Nike retailers for approximately $160 USD and both pairs at select overseas stockists such as Overkill Shop for around $213 USD a pair. Stay tuned for a stateside “Gundam” release date.
