BAPE Launches New High-End Collection "A BATHING APE® BLACK"
Signature items given a luxury twist.
Following quickly on the heels of a new collaboration with Dr. Martens, BAPE has now officially launched its latest line — this time creating a high-end component called “A BATHING APE® BLACK.”
The line is focused on the use of premium materials, with a distinct black with gold trim detailing running throughout the collection. Signature motifs of the BAPE line are given a revamp here, embroidered onto clothing instead of utilizing the standard printed technique. Faux fur is used throughout the outerwear, making an appearance on the iconic shark hoodie, M-51 jacket, and MA-1 models. There’s also a selection of T-shirts, sweatshirts, and pants as well as a camo shark balaclava.
