Stockholm Fashion Week Attendees Bring the Heat to Snowy Streets
Everything from Off-White™ and Balenciaga to Acne Studios and Eytys.
Following on from London Fashion Week Men’s, Pitti Uomo in Florence and Paris Fashion Week Men’s comes the more under-the-radar Stockholm Fashion Week. Mixing menswear and womenswear, the fashion week is a hotbed for emerging talent, and features some of Sweden’s most promising designers.
The Fall/Winter 2018 installment also saw attendees step out in pieces that included both Fashion Week staples — with brands such as Vetements and Off-White™ both featuring — and traditional minimalist Scandinavian brands, such as Acne Studios and Our Legacy. In terms of footwear, the trend for chunky sneakers was just as evident here as it was in other fashion week cities. In Stockholm, the Balenciaga Triple S continued to reign supreme, as well as equally oversized shoes from Raf Simons and local favorite Eytys.
