A First Look at James Harden's New adidas Sneaker
The signature Harden Vol.2 emerges.
Imagery has surfaced of James Harden‘s newest signature sneaker from adidas, which blends the latest Primeknit and BOOST technology into a sleek silhouette.
Boasting a striking warm-hued colorway, the Harden Vol.2 juxtaposes a variety of materials on the upper, combining Primeknit on the toe, mesh on the tongue, leather on the ankle opening, and a molded polyurethane lacing system. The latter portion of the shoe is perhaps the most intriguing, as it allows for the lacing — which extends almost past the midfoot — to be customized as the wearer sees fit. A substantial BOOST sole grants comfort and traction, thanks to its Fibonacci sequence-influenced outsole design. Three Stripes branding appears on the toe while Harden’s insignia is emblazoned on the upper portion of the tongue.
No release date has been announced but the shoe is rumored to release ahead of the NBA’s All-Star Weekend in mid-February.
