Hanon & Reebok Team up on the Workout Lo "Belly’s Gonna Get Ya"
Inspired by Reebok’s nightmarish TV ad from 2000.
Hanon joins forces with Reebok to dispatch a special edition pair of the Workout Lo Plus silhouette. The low-top model takes inspiration from Reebok’s notorious “Belly’s Gonna Get Ya” television ad from 2000. The classic commercial, as seen below, features a humongous belly chasing down a man as a way to promote the message: “move more and eat (drink) less.”
The sneaker itself boasts a flesh-tone colorway with soft suede uppers and pebbled leather overlays. The more eye-catching detail goes to premium denim detailing on the side portions. To top it off, the duo adds red labeling on each heel cap alongside woven tongue labels and co-branded insoles.
