Instagram Now Allows GIFs in Stories
With another useful rollout announced in tandem.

Starting today, Instagram will allow users to add GIFs to its Stories features with the help of a GIPHY integration. There will be a new GIF option within the sticker button located at the top of Stories, from which users can search a library of animated images and drag it to your photo or video.
Instagram will also add support for photo and videos of any ratio to be uploaded without cropping. The remaining area surrounding those images will be filled with a custom color gradient that matches it. GIF stickers are available now on Instagram’s newest update on both iOS and Android, with resized image uploads to roll out in the coming weeks. In other tech news, Snapchat stories are coming to the Web.
