adidas Commemorates Five Years of BOOST With the Energy BOOST Reissue
The shoe that influenced the YEEZY and NMD.
In February of 2013, adidas premiered the future of its footwear ventures with the release of the adidas Energy BOOST – the first of many to utilize the technology. Five years later, BOOST tech has become synonymous throughout its kicks; however, the Three Stripes brand has not forgotten what started it all and plans to re-issue the Energy BOOST.
Keeping the original sneaker’s aesthetics intact, the iteration features a black upper with “Neon Metallic Iron-Vivid Yellow” detailing the mid-sole and arch pod. Last, it wouldn’t be an anniversary without the inclusion of BOOST in the soles.
