This year marks the fifth anniversary of adidas’s game-changing BOOST lineup — originally launching the revolutionary midsole technology through an introductory EnergyBOOST model back in 2013. To help commemorate this milestone achievement, the Three Stripes brand is set to release a special limited-edition version of the famed UltraBOOST sneaker.

A black Primeknit construction swarms the upper, while grey accents land on the side panel branding and subtle pops of yellow make its way onto the tongue, torsion bar and insoles. The new release pays homage to its EnergyBOOST predecessor, as the earlier drop, too, featured a similar tonal palette of black, white and yellow. Although price has still yet to be confirmed, you can expect these commemorative BOOST models to hit select adidas retailers on February 1.

In other Three Stripes news, adidas Originals teases vibrant Spring/Summer 2018 adicolor apparel series.
