New Balance and HYPEBEAST present the next installment of The Local series featuring the new 247 silhouette. From the futuristic skyscrapers of Shanghai to the savory streets of Singapore and the creative hub of Amsterdam, our latest episode is a journey through New York with renowned tattoo artist Scott Campbell. Styled in the lightweight 247 Mid sneaker, the Saved Tattoo proprietor shared the history behind ’90s NYC tattoo culture and how it’s transformed into today’s vibrant scene. From Kings Avenue on Bowery in Manhattan to Designs By Michael Angelo in Borough Park, Brooklyn, we visited artists throughout the city, learning about the old and new schools of tattooing, and experienced Campbell’s world through his lens.

Watch above for our The Local video and shop the New Balance 247 at retailers worldwide and the official New Balance website for $90 USD.
