New Balance and HYPEBEAST present the first installment of a five-part ‘The Local’ series featuring the new 247 colorway. We journeyed to Shanghai to meet with designer/photographer Jennifer Bin who knew all the local spots and hidden gems throughout the city. The Shanghai-based photographer trekked through the streets styled in the lightweight knit sneaker as she walked us through China’s financial hub. From the lively night markets to spaceship-esque Sky Soho on Huaihai Road, we explored the contemporary architecture of Shanghai and experienced Bin’s hometown through her lens.

Watch above for our first ‘The Local’ video and shop the New Balance 247 at retailers worldwide and the official New Balance website for $90 USD.
