McDonald's Malaysia Releases a Black Burger, and It's Based on Spicy Korean Food
The burger even features kimchi sauce.
In recent years, a movement of midnight black burgers and other fast food items have emerged in markets across the globe. From Burger King’s Kuro Burgers and its other black offerings to McDonald’s take on the “all-black everything” food wave, plenty of bold, attention-grabbing listings have popped up on fast food restaurant menus in almost every major city. Now, McDonald’s Malaysia is rejuvenating the trend with its own “Black Burger.” Taking its inspiration from the spicy food you might find at dining establishments in Korea, McDonald’s Malaysia’s Korean Spicy Burger counts kimchi as one of its primary ingredients and is billed as being loaded with enough spiciness to send you running for a gallon of whole milk. With its charcoal-colored bun, the Korean Spicy Burger is quite the sight to see.
Available for a limited time only, you can check out the promotional vignette for the Korean Spicy Burger above. Outside of food, McDonald’s has been focusing on its own apparel line in recent months.
