To commemorate Polaroid’s 80th anniversary this year, the analog instant photography stalwart has launched a new platform called Polaroid Originals that aims to introduce a new generation of original format instant film. The first shooter under the fledgling imprint is the OneStep2—a modern take on the inaugural OneStep variant created approximately 40 years ago. The device boasts built-in flash, extended battery life with USB charging, and a self-timer application. Furthermore, a new I-type film for the camera is available, offering a “distinct, dreamy aesthetic of analog instant photography,” Polaroid described.

Veteran photographer and longtime Polaroid user, Ryan McGinley, has also launched a collaboration with Polaroid Originals. Stay tuned for more details regarding the partnership and let us know your thoughts. The OneStep2 is now available for purchase for approximately $99.99 USD at Polaroid Originals’ official website.
