Los Angeles Now Confirmed to Host the 2028 Olympic Games
The games are going Hollywood.

The International Olympic Committee has officially confirmed what many had long suspected — formally announcing the 2028 Olympic Games to be held in Los Angeles. Amongst the many campaigning for its Olympic bid were such high-profile figures, including hometown hero Dr. Dre and adopted son Magic Johnson. A slew of executive level representatives from such local sporting franchises, as the Lakers, Clippers, Dodgers and Rams, in addition to delegates from Warner Bros. and Disney also joined in to help sell their hometown’s glamorous vision.
With the 2028 games being awarded to L.A., Paris has in turn been granted to host the 2024 Olympics.
