In May it was announced that Hellboy would be the next movie franchise to receive the reboot treatment. Though we are still a least a year away from the Guillermo del Toro-directed film, we now have our first official look at actor David Harbour — from Stranger Things fame — decked out in full Hellboy costume. Tweeted out by Hellboy creator Mike Mignola, the titular character looks very similar to the previous Hellboy played by Ron Perlman, with a few upgrades to his more natural looking muscles and his signature “Right Hand of Doom.”

The cast will also include Ian McShane as Trevor Bruttenholm, Milla Jovovich as Nimue, The Blood Queen, Sasha Lane as Alice Monaghan, and Penelope Mitchell as Ganeida. The untitled Hellboy reboot — which is said to be “not really an origin story,” but a more darker horror film — is expected to release in 2018.
