'Game of Thrones' Will Film Multiple Endings to Avoid Spoilers
What are your theories?

It’s no secret that HBO‘s hit series Game of Thrones has filmed multiple scenes to avoid spoilers, as shared by Kit Harington during a recent visit to Jimmy Kimmel’s late night talk show. Though the show has experienced multiple leaks, especially during its season seven run, producers of the show plan to shoot multiple endings for season eight — the show’s final season — to avoid possible spoilers. This would even mean that the cast and most of the crew won’t even know how it ends until production wraps up.
This is not the first time multiple scenes have been filmed to avoid leaks, The Walking Dead also filmed various death scenes to ensure the public wouldn’t discover which major character would be killed of by Negan in the season seven opener.
According to Morning Call, HBO’s president of programming, Casey Bloys stated:
“I know in Game of Thrones, the ending, they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that nobody really knows what happens. You have to do that on a long show. Because when you’re shooting something, people know. So they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that there’s no real definitive answer until the end.”
Game of Thrones is expected to start filming season eight in October, which could potentially mean an air date of late 2018 or early 2019. Let us know how you think the show will end below.
