Fear of God, Evident Future & Patron of the New Connect for Joint Collection
A tribute to Leo Velasquez.
Jerry Lorenzo and the Fear of God crew have been pretty busy in recent months. In this summer alone, the high-profile brand has revealed plans for a line of essentials with PacSun, worked with Vans, showcased its fifth collection, designed custom tour gear for Kendrick Lamar and more. With a new season upon us, Fear of God is transitioning by linking up with NYC’s Patron of the New, designer Will Velasquez and Evident Future to honor the late Leo Velasquez with a run of new products.
Comprised of a blue baseball cap, two different-colored baseball jackets, a few pieces of jewelry — partially created by Diaboli Kill‘s Angie Marei — and a bold pair of tall black military sneakers inspired by motorcycle culture, Fear of God and Evident Future’s new drop is lean, straightforward and leaning more towards the minimal end of the spectrum. Keeping in line with the project’s theme, everything here fits well with Leo Valsquez’s personal tastes and style. Each item will be available for purchase at a pop-up shop at Patron of the New, which will host the event tomorrow starting at noon EST.
