The 'Thor: Ragnarok' International Trailer Brings Thor and Doctor Strange Together
More Avengers uniting.
A new international trailer for Thor: Ragnarok has just arrived online, bringing footage of Thor and Doctor Strange together. Made for the Japanese audience, this trailer shows Benedict Cumberbatch as Strange, explaining to Thor in the Sanctum Sanctorum that he’s “sensed a great change in [Thor’s] future.” Doctor Strange was previously teased in the mid-credit scene of the Sorcerer Supreme’s own film, where the two heroes are seen discussing Asgardian affairs.
Cate Blanchett stars as antagonist Hela and Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie. Tom Hiddleston returns as Loki and Jeff Goldblum returns as the Grandmaster. Thor: Ragnarok will be released in theaters on November 3, 2017. On the upcoming film, Chris Hemsworth states:
“[Sakaar is] basically where every wormhole across the universe dumps out its trash, so you get people from all walks of life with all sorts of incredible abilities and powers. No one cares what prince or king Thor may have been in another world. Also, his strength is pretty easily matched with those he finds himself amongst.”
