As one of the acts at the forefront of dance music institution Ed Banger Records‘ seminal 2000’s movement, the individual members of Grammy-nominated French duo Justice were as fashionable as they were musically- and artistically-skilled. In recent months, Justice has also mounted a comeback, dropping new projects and planning an expansive touring schedule. Now, Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay are once again taking a detour away from production and DJ sets, choosing to set their sights on clothing and apparel.
Diving into the world of fashion, Justice links up with Tokyo menswear brand PHIRE WIRE for a special 2017 capsule collection. Comprised of stadium jackets, baseball shirts, T-shirts, a baseball cap, a bat and an actual baseball, the sporting-indebted range is based on the styles and pieces Xavier de Rosnay and Gaspard Augé are most fond of. Supporting the latest Justice studio album Woman, de Rosnay, Auge and PHIRE WIRE also inject some of the project’s themes into this latest drop.
