For the past seven years, Japanese designer Mihara Yasuhiro has collaborated with PUMA on a line of wildly inventive sneakers that became known with features like fur, studs, and metallics in order to add a true avant-garde edge to shoes. For his 2017 fall/winter collection, Yasuhiro designs an Imperfect Sole Sneaker which has a smooth black suede-leather upper with a rubber cap toe in white. Striped in black and finished with a white rubber midsole, the shoe is laced in white that contrasts sharply with the body. Aiming to express a feeling of liberation with the shoe, Yasuhiro was inspired by the imperfections and natural distressing displayed proudly on worn out sneakers.
The MIHAYARAYASUHIRO Imperfect Sole Sneakers is now available for purchase on SSENSE for $650 USD.
