Tesla Reports Record Quarterly Loss & That 63,000 People Have Cancelled Their Pre-Order for Model 3
Elon says, “This is maybe the best I’ve ever felt about Tesla to be frank.”

As Tesla is set to ramp up production for its first mass market model, the company recently reported record quarterly loss and that 63,000 people canceled their orders for the Model 3. The drop, according to CEO Elon Musk, is due to order numbers decreasing from 518,000 to 455,000 over the last year. It is an undeniably big hit to the electric car company, but Musk is noting that the 63,000 drop is “inconsequential,” as the mass market Model 3 is still seeing demand. Every day, an average of 1,800 new orders are made which will be delivered at the end of 2018 at the earliest. Head over to Tesla to learn more about the upcoming mass market model and let us know what you think about the company’s Model 3.
