The Hundreds Draws Inspiration From Its Own Staff for 2017 Fall/Winter
Mixing in sportswear, military, Chicano culture and ‘80s nostalgia.
The Hundreds have stayed relatively busy this summer — dropping a collaboration alongside Revelation Records, along with a FILA collaboration and its Jackson Pollock-inspired seasonal collection. The California-based label returns to present its 2017 fall/winter offering now. Heavily influenced from its own staff members, the streetwear brand looked internally for inspiration — devising not only a stylistic representation, but a highly personal one. Converging the realms of sportswear, skate culture, military, Chicano culture and old school ‘80s nostalgia, the lineup gives way to printed sweatshirts, graphic hoodies, camo-printed trousers and an assemblage of statement headwear items. A standout item from the range sees a traditional anorak creatively reimagined with water-resistant 388T polyester and a vintage-inspired screen-printed logo design. The collection will be up for grabs on August 3 and can be found at The Hundreds’ flagship locations, online shop, as well as at select retailers.
