The Mayweather vs. McGregor Super Fight Caused Porn Ratings to Drop

On Saturday night, many sporting fans and non-sporting fans tuned into the much-hyped super fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor — even seeing around 2.9 million people illegally streaming the event. So much in fact that porn ratings went down. How many exactly?

According to PornHub, porn traffic dropped significantly in both the U.S. and McGregor’s home country of Ireland, seeing a 21 percent dip in the U.S. and a 11 percent for Irelend, with a world wide dip of 12 percent.

Digging deeper, Pornhub’s viewers between 18-34-year-olds dipped 26 percent during the fight. Following the fight, 35-54-year-olds flooded the site once Floyd TKO’d Conor. Leave your thoughts and comments below.
