WILLY CHAVARRIA Channels NYC's '80s Leather Scene for Its 2018 Spring/Summer Collection
Titled “Cruising.”

WILLY CHAVARRIA took to Eagle Bar in New York City to unveil its 2018 spring/summer collection entitled “Cruising.” The multi-level space located in Chelsea was a suitable venue to showcase the range that was inspired by NYC’s ‘80s leather scene and California lowrider culture. “Willy combines these influences to show the beauty of nonparallel subcultures converging creating a unified singularity,” said the brand.
The charming assemblage —- which was unveiled as part of New York Fashion Week: Men’s —- consisted of premium leather goods alongside oversized apparel that are embellished with remixed American brand logos. Striking pieces in the offering span leather long coats, track jackets, tees adorned with pro-unity statement graphics, relaxed drop-shoulder knitwear, and wide leg poplin trousers drenched in bold hues.
