MCM Teams up with Designer Zhijun Wang in Post-Apocalyptic Lookbook for Summer 2017

Following up its late spring/summer collaboration with Christopher Raeburn, luxury jet-setting brand MCM continues to create up-scale modern travel pieces for “global lifestyle players” using technical fabrics, refined textiles and sustainable materials. For its latest release, MCM partners up with designer Zhijun Wang — widely known for the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 mask to complement its intense lookbook which highlights the sleek Killian Backpack and classic Visetos Sneakers.
The iconic mask accessory is paired with full MCM looks and juxtaposed against energetic coloured smoke, shot in an abandoned post-apocalyptic warehouse. Designed in Germany, the luxury Killian Backpack is made of a super lightweight and tough lambskin, translating seamlessly into your daily wardrobe and making it the perfect luggage carry-on. The looks are topped off with the brand’s classic Visetos Sneakers, which take inspiration from MCM’s signature brass plate and Dual Stark Backpack. Crafted with a Strobel construction — uppers and lining are stitched to the insole of footwear — the sneakers yield greater flexibility and durability and are available in cognac, black, white, and red colorways.
